Some Managers may need to work on their soft skill set, obtain leadership skills, understand company buy in, conflict resolution exercises, accountability or focus on communication. The Newly Hired Supervisor/Manager

Employees progressively move throughout companies without the proper training when they are elevated to a Managerial position. This course provides:

HR Essentials Part One

This course teaches the employee how to ask appropriate questions during an interview without violating candidate rights and creating liability with their interview practices.

HR Essentials Part Two

HR Essentials Part Two covers NYS and NYC overview of employment law to ensure employee rights are not violated with disciplinary actions while managing their time, attendance, leave of absences, accommodations and other protections.

People Management Part Three

People Management is a great addition to the newly hired Manager training because we review how to properly counsel, document, and encourage positive behavior for improvement.

The final phase of this training is to empower employees to be at their best and build positive professional relationships with your team.

NYS TIPS TRAINING

This training is geared towards the Hospitality industry.  This training is what I like to call “defensive driving for servers or bartenders”.  This course will teach servers and bartenders how to serve responsible, cut off respectfully, document situations and reduce liability within your establishment.   In NYS, insurance companies provide a significant discount for NYS trained staff and some establishments require a NYS TIPS trained staff member in order to serve on site.  Inquire how you could save on your insurance with some training. 

SEXUAL HARRASMENT PREVENTION

Outsourced HR Solutions provides live or webinar training that is compliant with NYS and NYC requirements.  Most companies prefer to have a third party conduct the training to allow employees to feel comfortable asking questions and ways for redress. We also offer a webinar in Spanish as well. NYS employers with 4 or more employees are required to provide annual interactive training each year.  All NYS employers must provide training to their staff no later than October 9, 2019.
